Day 1: Kigali Genocide Memorial Tour & Transfer to Musanze

After breakfast, your guide will greet you and kick off the with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial a significant historical site that offers a into Rwanda's past, resilience, and inspiring journey of recovery and unity. the tour, you will leave Kigali and head to Mus, enjoying a scenic drive of about 110 km that takes approximately2.5 to 3 hours through Rwanda's picturesque rolling hills and countryside. Upon arriving at Sambora Kinigi, you will check in, unwind, enjoy dinner, and settle in for the, getting ready for the exciting adventures that await you in Volcanoes National Park.

Day 2: Golden Monkey Trekking & Transfer to Bwindi

After an early breakfast, head to the Volcanoes National Park for a briefing before embarking on an exhilarating Golden Monkey trekking adventure. Navigate through the bamboo forests at the base of the Virunga Mountains in pursuit of these lively and endangered primates, recognized for their energetic antics and striking-orange fur. Following the trek, return to the lodge for lunch before starting your journey to Uganda, crossing the border at Cyanika. Continue to the renowned Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the habitat of the endangered mountain gor, while enjoying picturesque views of the rolling hills and terraced landscapes along the way. Arrive at the lodge in Bwindi in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Batwa Cultural Trail

After an early breakfast, transfer to the briefing point at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a briefing by the park rangers before beginning your unforgettable mountain gorilla trekking experience. Hike through the dense tropical rainforest in search of one of the habituated gorilla families while enjoying the rich biodiversity of the forest. Once the gorillas are located, spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat as they feed, play, and interact.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before heading out for the Batwa Cultural Trail experience. Learn about the traditions, survival skills, music, dance, and history of the Batwa people, the original forest inhabitants of Bwindi, through guided community interactions and storytelling.

Day 4 :Transfer to Kigali

After breakfast, check out from the lodge and begin your scenic transfer back to Kigali, Rwanda, with a border crossing through Cyanika. The journey takes approximately 4–5 hours, offering beautiful views of the rolling hills, countryside villages, and terraced landscapes often referred to as the “Land of a Thousand Hills.”

Upon arrival in Kigali, you will be dropped off at the airport or your preferred location, marking the end of your unforgettable Rwanda and Uganda primate adventure.
