Day 1 : Transfer to Mara

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you will be warmly received by our driver–guide for a brief introduction and trip overview. From Nairobi, we embark on a scenic drive to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, passing through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley and witnessing the beauty of Kenya’s countryside along the way.

On arrival in the Mara, proceed to your lodge/camp for check-in and a chance to relax after the journey. Take in the tranquil surroundings and prepare for the exciting safari adventures that await in the coming days.

Day 2 : Ballon Flight Safari and Guide Game Drive

Begin your day with an early morning hot air balloon safari over the sweeping plains of the Maasai Mara. As the sun rises, enjoy breathtaking aerial views of wildlife roaming below—elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, and more—in the golden light of dawn. After landing, celebrate the experience with a bush breakfast served in the heart of the savannah.

Later, continue your adventure with a guided game drive across the Mara. With your expert guide, explore different parts of the reserve in search of the Big Five and other wildlife, while learning fascinating insights about the ecosystem. The rest of the day will be spent enjoying the wonders of the Mara at a relaxed pace, before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 : Transfer to Amboseli

After breakfast, check out from your lodge in the Masai Mara and begin your journey to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of elephants. The drive takes you through Kenya’s scenic countryside, with opportunities to enjoy the changing landscapes along the way.

Arrive at Amboseli in the afternoon and proceed to your lodge for check-in and lunch. Later, relax at the lodge or enjoy a short evening game drive (time permitting), where you may encounter elephants, lions, cheetahs, and an array of birdlife set against the dramatic backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain.

Settle in for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge, ready for the adventures that await in Amboseli.

Day 4 : Gamedrive Enroute to Nairobi and flight to Kigali

Begin the day with an early morning game drive, venturing out at sunrise for your final chance to spot wildlife in their natural habitat. After the drive, we exit the park and journey back to Nairobi, taking in the scenic landscapes along the way. From Nairobi, you will catch your flight to Kigali, where you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay, preparing for the adventures ahead.

Day 5 : Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest

Embark on your Ugandan adventure with a meaningful start at Kigali Genocide Memorial at 9:00 AM, where you will learn about Rwanda’s history and pay respects. Afterwards, drive to Musanze and enjoy a guided tour of the Ellen DeGeneres Diana Campus, gaining insights into conservation and community initiatives. Stop for a delightful lunch in Musanze before continuing your journey with a scenic cross-border drive to Bwindi, setting the stage for your upcoming gorilla trekking experience.

Day 6 : Trek Gorillas and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Begin your day early with a thrilling morning Gorilla Trek in the misty Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where you will observe these gentle giants in their natural habitat up close. After this unforgettable encounter, enjoy a scenic transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, the “Switzerland of Africa,” where you can unwind, relax by the serene waters, and soak in the breathtaking views, reflecting on your incredible wildlife adventure.

Day 7 : Early morning Boat ride on Lake and transfer to Kigali

Start your morning with a serene early boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi, gliding across the calm waters while enjoying the misty views, spotting local birdlife, and visiting some of the lake’s small islands. After this peaceful experience, embark on a scenic transfer back to Kigali, reflecting on the beauty of southwestern Uganda and your memorable journey.
